BIGBANG - BAD BOY M/V

Been slipping on the posts lately, I apologize. Big Bang released their second single from their mini album, as expected, it's amazing! I don't think I've ever wanted to bob my head to a break up song as I much as I do with this one. Pretty sure the boys will be breaking records and winning rewards with this single just as they did with their first single from "ALIVE". If you like the song, download it legally and support our favorite guys!

BigBang Have Returned With a New Video

That is right ladies and gentlemen, BigBang is BACK! Here is their first music video from their comeback album entitld "Blue". It's wonderful to see the boys be back on the scene, especially considering all the drama they've been facing during their break. The past year has been a year full of legal and emotional drama with leader GDragon being in the mist of drug rumors, and Daeseung being accused of killing a man during a car accident.

Only in Japan: Crazy Robot Vending Machines!

I've heard a lot of information about the crazy things you can find in Japan, and the one that seems to come up the most is their vending machines. See in Japan, even the most simplest of consumer machines is done in the most creative way that their technology can provide. So instead of having a boring rectangular box that shoots out CoCa~Cola, they have a walking robot that gives you Coke - as long as you pay for it.

Rest in Peace Whitney Houston

I know that this blog is primarily about Kpop and I rarely ever post anything that doesn't have something to do with Asian culture, but this post is a major exception. Last night America's greatest singing voice Whitney Houston was found dead at 48.

Anime Highlight: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Anime Highlight: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Hi, my name is HD and I run a blog called HardDoor, which focuses on anime and boxing. Teddy-chan asked me if I would like to do a guest post on anime here at TeddyChanTastical! and I obliged. In particular, I was asked if I could contribute something with Valentine's Day in mind. This had me thinking: what would be the best title to showcase as not only a good introduction to anime (especially for new or casual fans), but one befitting of the holiday, as well? To me, the 2006 film, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, fits that bill.

Chocolat Release New Video "One More Day"

Can you actually believe these are the same girls that released "Chocolat Syndrome"?

I actually sat here during the entire video arguing to myself that this was not the same rookie group I posted about earlier. It wasn't until I examined their faces did I realize that that they were the same exact girls. It seems that their company realized that promoting the girls as being half-Korean wouldn't help the girls sell records and decided to change up their style. After all sexy(y) does sell, right?  They look really mature in this video with their short clothing and suggestive dance moves (I mean dancing on a chair? Looks like stripper practice ...)

The Queen of Fake eye lashes dances for the crowd with her lion guards

If you guys didn't know by now, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is rapidly becoming one of my favorite Japanese artists of all time. After hearing her viral hit "PonPonPon" and her second single how do you blame me? Well, Tokyopop sent out an email about Pamyu today and of course I had to read it. In the article, the author gives readers a summary of Kyary's beginning and how this nineteen-year old is quickly taking over the world with her "psychedelic flying skulls" and "Lisa Frank-on-acid music videos".

And the Girls just keep bringing it! After making an amazing night show debut on "The David  Letterman Show", Girl's Generation followed up with another great performance on "Live! With Kelly!" The girls performed the Teddy Riley version of "The Boys" After the performance, they had a short interview with Kelly Rippa and Howie Day. In the hilarious banter that followed, the girls discussed the new name of their dance, how to say potatoe in Korean, and making Kelly an unoficial member of Girl's Generation.

Miryo reveals Dirty

Brown Eyed Girls have proven time and time again that they are one group to reckoned with. Their provocative themes and authority challenging lyrics have earned them a place among KPop's great and in the top charts. These girls produce beautiful music together, but they are also able to shine just as well on their own. So when it was announced that the group would start promoting for their solo projects, everyone was on their toes waiting to see what kind of controversial head nodding singles that they'd churn out next. Well, now we have our answer.
