Video Spotight: koda kumi 倖田来未／Show Girl

I absolutely love this song by Koda Kumi! It may be "old" news to some of you, but this song has been on constant replay on my mp3 player for weeks now. I love the allusions to Flash Dance in the video and Koda looks flawless! It's definitely a lot more conservative than other videos I've seen by her. I really love the song. Koda is quickly becoming one of my favorite Japanese pop singers. Check the video, and tell me if you love it as much as I do!

I'm pretty sure I may have blogged this earlier, but the servers have been acting mighty strange lately and deleting/re-posting posts. Either way, this song deserves to be on here twice. This is Mirror Mirror by the lovely ladies of 4minute. I'm really loving the song and Hyuna looks great with her natural hair color back. I like the song, and hope you all like it as well. She's been called a Korean Taylor Swift by netizens already. She's even been said to be a blond mix of Hyuna and Bom. I think she's a refreshing sound to hear - real music and real music with no autotune. What do you guys think?

Video Spotlight: Brave Girls - Do You Know

So here's a new girl group that has just debuted named Brave Girl. So, I like their song. It's something I can nod my head to and it doesn't give me despair listening to other sad "my relationship isn't working" songs. What I don't like is the seductive dancing in the video. It just doesn't fit with the rest of the video at all. The girls have nice voices, and many are complaining that the rapper sounds just like any other k-pop rapper.

Brave Girls is already being compared to other girl groups like 2NE1 and 4Minute, which I don't see how since Brave Girls resembles neither of these groups thus far. There's a teaser at the end of their video for "So Sexy". I've added that as well as another video of them i was able to find. What do you think, do these girls have what it takes to make it into the business?

Video Spotlight:: Joo 주 FT. Chansung 찬성 (2PM) - 나쁜 남자 Bad Guy

I've come to love this song over the past few weeks. She looks so pretty in the video and her emotion is so clear. Chansung looks so different in the transitions from good cute guy to mean bad guy. I have no idea why he's doing that random screaming in the video though. especially since he isn't really hurt.

Video Spotlight: Big Bang - So Sick (Ne-Yo)

Since I've posted videos of 2NE1 performing English covers of popular American songs, I thought it's only be fair to show some videos of Big Bang. Here the boys are in a radio station singing Ne-Yo's "So Sick". They missed a few of their cues to start singing, but they make up for by adding in their own rap part in. This is an old video, so please don't be too harsh on the boys.

Another English cover by 2NE1. This was again back when the girls where just debuting and they chose to sing "Say Goodbye" by Chris Brown at a radio station. I've posted a video of the girls singing at the station and another clean studio version were you can hear the girls more clearly. Check out 2NE1 covering "Take a Bow" by 2NE1. The girls have amazing voices and this only helps prove it. I'm not sure where the girls where while singing this song, but it is a great rendition of the song. What do you think of the girl's English?

Video Spotlight: Thelma Aoyama FT Tae Yang- FALL IN LOVE

I found this video a few weeks ago and I have no idea how I could have missed it! It's really catchy. The song is in Japanese and is sung by Thelma Aoyama and Big Bang's Taeyang. Their voices work well together and Taeyang has speaks really good Japanese if I must say.
