It's been a good while since we heard anything new from any of the members from 2NE1. The YG camp has been pretty busy promoting Psy and GD, while our favorite ladies from 2NE1 have been laying low. Now, YG has released a monster of a song from the group's fearless leader,CL , that is going to have fans abusing the replay button.

 2NE1 has released a new single called I Love You which is now available on iTunes for purchase. The song is reportedly making headway on online charts gaining an all kill on Melon and reportedly reaching number two on American iTune charts. The new single is turn from 2NE1's previous work, but I'm guessing that YG has finally seen that it's time for the girls to switch it up.

Only a few more days left before BigBang reveals their new "Monster" video. After releasing teaser photos of their outfits, teaser videos of each of the members soon followed. Just as I suspected, the boys seem to be in some kind of insane asylum, but there is something peculiar about them in the video. Each member looks dazed and confused in the video while wondering around a dark and disheveled hallway looking for a way out. The concept of a monster rings in your head when you the groups eyes begin to change in the video. Snippets of the song can be heard in each teaser.

2NE1's New Fan Made Track "Be Mine" almost complete

2NE1 is just around the corner from releasing another new song! The ladies of YG have collaborated with Intel Korea to produce a hit single to promote Intel's latest product. The collaboration, called "Make Thumb Noise Project" has drawn fans from all over to help 2NE1 make a song and consisted of four rounds.

Round 1 allowed the fans to determine the mood of the song by letting them vote on the track. The concept and title of the song were chosen in round 2, and fans chose to go with "Be Mine". Fans chose to go with the electro house feel of the track versus the R&B version. A snippet of the song can be heard below. It sounds like a sweet love song, but has the same edge you'd expect from 2Ne1 with Bom singing " Shut up and be mine" over the summery track.

Round 2: 2NE1 "Make Thumb Noise"

Round 1 is over and fans chose track 2 as the winning beat!  I was actually rooting for track one, but I guess you can't always have it your way. Round 2 is now under way and this time we get to choose the concept and song title of the video.

Today a video was released through Intel Korea and 2NE1's YouTube page called "2NE1 and Ultrabook Make Thumb Noise". The video is the first of what is to be revealed from their new collaboration with Intel. In the video, the girls are seen goofing off and having fun, before getting into the studio, hinting to viewers that there is more to come.

T Bands from all over the world came to perform for thousands of adoring fans and thousands more who watched the live stream of the concert at home. School is almost over for the semester meaning lots of exams and papers I have to finish up (one is due in less than three hours), work, and the upcomingChristmas holidays have all kept me tied up. So much in fact that I missed the MAMA 2011 Awards! This has to have been one of the best weeks for Kpop music. First Pichfork writes an article about Kpop, then BIGBANG won an MTV Ema Award, and today it was announced that 2NE1 has been chosen as Best New Band in the World! For those of you who didn't know, 2NE1 was one many nominees in the run for MTV Iggy's Best New Band in the World.

VIPs vs Blackjacks?

 Apparently, VIPs are angry with Papa YG for allegedly favoring 2NE1 over BIGBANG. Fans are complaining that 2NE1 is being treated like "princesses" and are taking the spotlight from their fellow label mates BIGBANG. The President of BIGBANG's official fan club is upset that YG has been profiting off of items that VIP's created for free.

LONELY(Japanese.Ver) Short.Ver

This came out a few days ago and I'm loving the scenes design for this PV. The set actually works better than the Korean music video if you ask me. It pushes the fact that the girls really are lonely as there are no people in the background and the thick fog also adds despair to the video. I'm just mad that I have to learn the Japanese to this one after I just finished memorizing the Korean. How come YG is cutting all their Japanese videos short? What do you guys think of the video? Better than the Korean version or not?

Hey guys! Teddy is still alive and well, just been tied up with school and other business to post regularly. So to keep my blog in your mind, I'm checking in with a few videos. 2NE1 Nolza Concert Clips

2NE1 has succefully finished their first ever solo concert. The girls showed their fans exactly why they really where the best and even added in a couple of surprises. For one, Bigbang member Taeyang showed up to dance alongside maknae Minzy and taught the crowd to Dougie. Then CL showed the world her talents by covering Drake's Marvin Room and Nikki Minaj's "Did it on 'Em". Park Bom chose to perform her singles "You and I" and "Don't Cry". Dara also performed with Park Myung Soo. GDragon of BigBang also performed. Here are some clips from the concert. Enjoy!
