2NE1 Declared Best Band in the World!

This has to have been one of the best weeks for Kpop music. First Pichfork writes an article about Kpop, then BIGBANG won an MTV Ema Award, and today it was announced that 2NE1 has been chosen as Best New Band in the World! For those of you who didn't know, 2NE1 was one many nominees in the run for MTV Iggy's Best New Band in the World.
The girls went against fierce competition from all over the world but thanks to faithful fans, were able to beat them all.

I'm really hoping this win will help the ladies in their upcoming American promotions and give them new fans.
Now the world can see exactly why 2NE1 is the best. 2NE1 FIGHTING!
