Celebrities all around the world use their popularity to promote all sorts of products. But it will probably be a while before you see stars like Beyonce or Lady Gaga advertising chicken, unless Gaga decides to make another meat dress. But Korean groups and idol stars are using their cuteness and
sex appeal to promote all types of items. Clothing lines, skin products, and the local fried chicken stores- you name it, they've probably sponsored it.  Check out these CFs I found of BigBang. The PowerPuff Girls have evolved

Sugar. spice. and everything nice. 

    Remember hearing those words on Saturday morning while watching Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup kick bad guy butt in the Powerpuff Girls? The show was one of my favorite past times. I'd sit there and watch the show and cheer on the girls as they battled monsters, evil doers, and overcame everyday life troubles like bedtime and school. Sadly, the show came to an end - but it took another route in Japan.

     The show may not have been renewed for a new season in America, but the Japanese have taken the show and given it a makeup over. Known as Demashitaa in Japan, the show starts as No longer are the girls some experiment gone wrong, but instead they are normal girls who have been accidently zapped with chemical Z, making them super heroes. Not only that, but the girls look human! They have fingers, a nose, eyebrows, and all the other humanistic features that the original American girls were not given.I've actually found an English dub of the episodes via Youtube. Sadly, there are no reports that Cartoon will take up this new adaptation of the show for US audiences. So this is just another product that is only in Japan.

This is a new bi-weekly post  I'm going to be introducing to the blog. It'll be showcasing all the good things about Korea and Japan that we Americans probably won't get the luxury to enjoy. Because it's only in Korea. Cute Phones:You've heard the songs that helped to promote this accessories that every has to have. I'm sure you were Lolli-popping at home when watching the music video hoping that you could get a LG lollipop of your own.  Sorry guys, but you can't get one in the US -at least not by the name of Lollipop. The American version is called LG dLiteand is available for purchase online. You can get them in GD570blue or GD570pink. This is one item that you can get in America but sadly it doesn't come with a colorful video.
