티아라 (T-ARA) _ Roly Poly MV

T-ARA has released the long awaited MV for their single "Roly Polly". The first MV plays like a mini drama while the stage version (below) is short and straight to the point. In the video the camera seems to focus a lot on Jiyeon even though she has no lines in the song and the other girls hardly get any closeups. Many fans are happy that the other members like Boram (she's so small!) are able to get more lines in the song. The scenes in this video can also bring on a headache. There's so much switching back and forth from scene to scene that
it's really hard to keep up. Some fans even claim that the video could even bring on seizures.

I'm really loving this new trend that the Kpop artists have where they where clothing inspired from earlier periods. The clothes in this video are inspired from the 80s. I also love how they throw in the Soul Train line in the end. I had no idea they knew about that in Korea, unless it was common for non-blacks to bust a move down the line. Oh well. I really enjoyed the song and Can't wait to hear more from T-ARA! If you just have to have this and their other songs off of their new mini album John Travolta Wannabe, you can buy it as soon as it becomes available and you'll be helping support T-ARA! Stay tuned everyone!

Here's the stage version of the same video. It gets straight to the point unlike the other one.
